Urgent: Procedure to Acquire Divorce Papers

Hi. A person I know has the copy of his divorce papers but doesn't have the original ones. He wishes to get the original one again. The divorce was filed in Tis Hazari Court, Delhi, in 1987. Is there any procedure by which he can acquire them? Urgent help required.

In my opinion, he simply needs to file an application at the aforementioned court for the retrieval of the original copy of the decree and pay some minimal fees.

Since case is too old of the year 1986 hence it is not possible that the person will be able to get certified copy of order. Is the person has Ghoshwara number of the case? The person may apply for certified copy of order but he may only get information of filing of case and what was the disposal of the case. In general the records of more than 3 years are destroyed.
