I gave my shop to run a partnership business with my cousin. I got a job in US and i exited the partneship and after 2 years i came back to India. When i asked my cousin to vacate he is asking for money to vacate. what to do?, i dont collect rent or pay any taxes for the shop anymore. he pays all amounts. but ownership is in my mothers name. how to vacate him and how long will it take if i go to court. I need the money from sale of this shop for my sisters marriage. Pls help

Arrange to send a legal notice and file a suit in rent control civil courts for vacate the premises.

You have no other option except to file a suit.
You are to decide whether to treat him your licencee or tenant but decide it before sending notice.
