It has heard from the newspapers and in crime report telecased in various channel, that there are many woman gangs extorting money from the public and from appearnce they remain docile and calm like any domestic woman
Generally laws favors woman i.e under section 356 of IPC which gives protection under outrage of modesty. So man even fears to defend himself
What he should do in meeting such case. Whether there is any law which safeguards for men for his protection

This is the MAJOR flaw in our system that there is no "procedure" to safeguard the interest of the accused. Once accused always treated like convict till you are proven innocent. Police, public, lawyers and even judges would not even give importance to your pleas.
Against such unscrupluous women one you be prepared to tackle with trick like when she is assaulting may be you could record the voice, video etc. And then with help of police try to find out if this lady is actually from a reputed family or just as you mentioned a miscreant.
