In response to your query,
If any detail is hidden or not mentioned in the FIR and then is later on added then the informant will be answerable for the same. If the informant knows and knowingly hides the name of the witness or witnesses then, during the enquiry, a proper explanation for the same must be given.
If then the explanation given by the informant is found valid then the witnesses can hold value in court.
