If you are a victim of the offence, i.e the deceased was related to you personally, then you need to file an appeal u/s 372 of the Crpc. No such special leave shall be required unless it was a complaint case.

You need to read the Crpc properly before trying to be oversmart and rebut people on this forum. I dont know what version of the Crpc you are referring to , but anyone who can manage to have bare reading skills can manage to see that chapter 28 deals with confirmation of death sentences and not appeals.
Chapter 29 deals with appeals and the amendment carried out in sction 372 talks about giving the victim the right to challenge an order of acquittal.
