Writ petitiion

We the 26 ex-employees have lodged a writ petition . What will be the next procedure. We were prematurelly retired by the bank at the age of 55 without giving any compensation. Our age of retirement was 58. The H.C. has sent notice to co-op. bank .What step bank will take ? Will they try to send us in lower court in pune that is labour court where cases run for 10 years. Wehave already crossed the age of 60. Will high court accedes the say of bank?

Your concern is genuine. The labour court is the  right forum.Anyway, the HC has taken up your case. You have to wait. Before withdrawing any privilege, a notice is mandatory and you can get favourable orders.

if large number of persons are affected then u should file a case against co-operative bank in the labour court which comes under the same juridiction.

YOU ARE ON RIGHT FOOTING. MENTION YOUR GRADE & CLASS. IN WHICH HIGH COURT YOU HAVE FILED THE CASE. IF THE HIGH COURT HAS ADMITTED THE PETITION NO CHANCE TO GO TO LABOUR COURT.
