Adjudication of gpa

I need to get a property in Bengaluru registered. My wife and I (residents of Delhi) are the joint owners, however she can’t travel to Bengaluru for the registration process. So I am getting a GPA prepared. The Attorney in Bengaluru told me that the GAP will need to be adjudicated in Bangalore even though my wife is in Delhi.

  1. Should I get the GPA prepared on the Delhi Stamp Paper or the Karnataka Stamp Paper or plain white paper?
  2. Will I have to get it Notarised in Delhi?
  3. Will I have to be personally present in Bangalore for the adjudication of the GPA or I can send it to an advocate in Bengaluru through courier?
  4. How much time will it take for me to get the GPA adjudicated in Bengaluru?

@Saurabh,

1, The title (ownership) of the property cannot be transferred through GPA, whether it is notarised or registered in Delhi or Bengluru.

2. What is the purpose of getting a GPA executed and attested/registered?

3. Consult a local lawyer for proper appreciation of facts, guidance and advise.
