I plan to buy a Trust land in Raigad district, maharashtra. The trust has appointed a proper trustee for the sale of its land in different size plots. The trust has also taken permission from the WAQF board to go ahead with the sale of its land.
Trust says the land will be given on lease of 99 years which will be renewable and also land is re-saleable if i intend to do so in near future.
Many people have already bought land and erected their personal bungalows there. The area registrar says that the agreement can only be registered for a max period of 3 years and should be renewed then,
Can i go ahead and invest in such land and what precautions shall i take. Please advice.
