Can the poa holder file a case in this name?

I have the Power pf Attorney in my name given to me from a person say 'X'.

my question is can i file a petition in the court  in respect of a property for which i have the POA

in my name ? 

or alternatively in the name of 'X' but with my signature.?

The power of attorney should give you the power to institute the case in the name of the executant.
