Delay is judgement in high court

Is there any time limit for karnataka high court to clear the case. We had filed the appeal in 2006 but still the judgement is not given for civil case. Is there any way we can file the application to the court for early judgement. Please let us know as we are staying in rented house.

Because the guarantee of a speedy trial "is one of the most basic rights preserved by our Constitution," it is one of those "fundamental" liberties embodied in the Bill of Rights which the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment makes applicable to the States.

After the judgement by the apex court ::::There are case flow management rules, directions on pronouncement of judgments, in high courts .

Your lawyer would be aware of it.

Discuss with your lawyer.

I do agree with the views of Learned Expert Mr. Ramachariya You may file an application before the Hon'ble Chief Justice of the High Court for speedy disposal of your case showing its urgency if any.

consult your lawyer and proceed with the steps suggested by experts above.
