Is survey number must in sale deed?

Hi ,

I am planning to buy a Individual house but the sale deed dont have Survey number in it. Details are as below

1. MR X sold the inherited property to MRs Y in 1992. Sale deed don’t have reference to survey number other the schedule.

2.MRs Y passed away in 2003.

3.MRs Y and her husband MR Z having one son and daughter, who executed affidavit and NOC to transfer the property of their mother on to their father’s name in 2005.

4.In 2005 MRs Y husband MR Z with original death certificate and affidavit  transferred the  on to his name.

5. Affidavit was only notarised but not through court.

Could you please help me with below queries

1. Whether survey number is must in the sale deed?

2. As the sale deed was not transferred to Y’s husband, how should I proceed now?

Thank you so much for your reply.

Owner is referring as schedule is the identification of the property. And also In Bangalore corporation gives the Katha certificate and PID as identification of the property which is mentioned in it. Will it suffice?
