Is there way to appeal on an old order?

Lower Court passed the Decree in 1982 in our favor of partition suit and defendant made appeal in the District Court for correctness of judgement that got dismissed. However it has modified one line that we do not agree. Subsequently we demanded that in regular Darkhast and got part of it but getting answer that court cannot go behind decree  for remaing part.
Is there any way /special exception to challenge that District Court order passed in 1986 now? considering the fact that regular Darkhast demanding same is still open and content of it is not in line with the decree passed in lower court.
