We had purchased a land in 1993 developed by a builder in gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The land was owned by one mr lalchand belonging to schedule caste.
We are willing to resale the land , and we were suggested that it has to undergo a re registration process according to new system. The re registration and update in the computerised records is being done at the gorakhpur tahsil. This was supposed to be done by referring to the the old documents which we had.
today we are informed that since the land belongs to sc/st, it won't be registered in the new system. Now the people who originally sold the land to us are no where to be found. the place is developed with several houses, most of them which we're sold by the same person who sold it to us.
Kindly advice what should we do in order to get our purchased land registered in the new system.
