Occupancy certificate

Builder has given OC but have below queries

-its in builder's name

-mention of building name is not there

-it is for building and not flat

-what is written in OC

1). Yes. It will be in the name of the owner/builder, in whose name the property stands and the plan is sanctioned.

2). Name will not be mentioned.  It is the builder/owner`s prerogative to choose the name.

3).Yes.  It is for the building only as per the sanctioned or approved building plan.

4). Read and understand it. It might contain the details about the schedule, number of apartments etc. Then, details regarding the inspection, approval and the fee paid details.  The building has been inspected and worthy of occupation or possession with certain conditions and detials.
