PROPERTY DISPUTE

I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A FLAT IN CHENNAI. AND I FOUND THAT THERE ARE SOME CRACKS INSIDE THE BUILDINGS IN ALL FLAT. WHILE CONTACTING THE BUILDER, HE SAYS THAT IT IS A AIR CRACK. BUT SOME ENGINEERS ARE TELLING THAT THERE MAY BE PROBLEM IN MIXING OF CEMENT , SAND. AND MOREOVER I HAVE TAKEN A LOAN FROM LIC. IF BUILDER IS NOT PROPERLY ANSWERING, CAN WE APPROACH THE LIC AND GET THE PROBLEM RECTIFIED.

you can approach  the builder but if you don't get responce you can file a complaint before consumer forum of your district alleging deficiency in service and unfair trade practice. If you will proved your case you can get a new flat and also get compensation against builder. In my opinion LIC cannot help you.
