Spelling mistake in encumbrance certificate.

After the plot has been registered it is seen that in the updated latest EC the name of seller was incorrect (spelling mistake) this happens due to Katha of seller itself was mistake. The following letter "A" from name "RAGHU" is missed in current latest EC compared to previous, EC_OLD - SANTHOSH to RAGHU EC_NEW - RGHU to CHETAN How to rectify the above issue as the spelling mismatch is seen if the previous 2 EC'S are compared.

Approach the same authority that has issued IT.

It does not matter.

If you really want to change it, approach the Sub Registrar with the original EC, he will correct and issue the fresh one.

Thanks for your prompt reply!

The same wrong name as "RGHU" who is the executant in my case is seen visible in the backside of page 2 in my saledeed beside the photo and thumb impression.

But the name mentioned on front page as Vendor["RAGHU"] is correct name according to PAN.

How do i approach to this mismatch of the executant name on front page as "RAGHU" compared to "RGHU" on backside of 2nd page of saledeed beside photo and thumb impression.

Please note that the EC also has misspelled name "RGHU".

Could you please throw some light to handle this issue.?
