We are into sale of residential flats. There is one incidence happened recently, one of our client booked flat with us and he and his mother have become applicants in the same. Agreement had been registered and he had made the half payment. Now 2 days back got this news that the son who is the sole bread earner of the family died in an unfortunate accident and now his mother wants to cancel the flat. Now want to understand what is the procedure of cancellation of agreement to sell and what would be the implications of Stamp Duty and Registration amount, will they get the full amount or half amount or nothing.
