2 letter initial for my child

Hi everyone,

I have a female child recently. we keep Roshini as the child name. while applying for birth certificate, as per numerology we put "ka.roshini" ka denotes tamil first letter of my name karthik, as my child name. but the govt officials didnt accept the initial "ka" they told they can allow "k" as initial i.e.   k.roshini. any body can help with any legal judgement or rules which accept two letter initial or pls advice how to convince the govt officials to get the birth certificate in the name of "ka.roshini".

thank you in advance

Dear Karthik,

I think that there is no such legal bar.  Name can be preferred as per your own choice.

Example :- Md.  in case of Mohammad, Sd.  in case of Syed etc.
