Reply in dv

DEAR SIR,

my lawyer is delaying in  giving the reply.FOR DV CASE.

MY DV case was filed on 22nd jan.1st date for court was 10th april.

it was holiday due to elections in delhi

2nd date 30th may did not send the reply due to insufficient documents (pages missing).received original and complete docs.

next date 26th august.for DV

my recosilation was going on till 27th july FIR filed on that date.for 498a.

should we take more dates?to file reply in DV.what should be the strategy.

From the date of receipt of summons the time limit is 90 days to file your written statement  which even your counsel is aware .An explanation would have to be given for any delay after this in order to submit your W S . 

 

1. Whats the point in delaying your own case . The faster the case runs the better for you to get out of it , else its a waste of time and money on your part .
