The possession of one co-owner is considered in law as possession of all the co-owners. When one co-owner is found to be in possession of the properties it is presumed to be on the basis of joint title. As regards co-owners the law is that there can be no adverse possession by one co-owner unless there has been a denial of title and an ouster to the knowledge of the others.
