Buyer Witnesses in a Property Agreement Case

Respected Members,

We have a land agreement case going on. During the cross examination none of the Buyer witnesses have appeared and also they did not submit any form of witness in writing. Is it manadatory for the Buyer witnesses to appear in the court and is it mandatory that there should be something in writing from the buyer witnesses? Also is it mandatory to have them cross/chief examnined??

Thanks in advance

Regards/Vijay
