Consumer forum

The insurance company has mailed me the details of insurance policy by email and had also correspondence by email and online chat with the insurance company.  Now they have refused that they do not have any record of year 2006 nor such insurance policy was issued.

My query is that are emails and online chat with such Insurance company is valid in court and how can such emails be proved under what cyber

Emails are valid proof in court because it is a written document.

As  per sec 65 B of  Evidence Act ,documents received from electronic records are valid proofs.
