custody and access of child

if parents have decided in mutual concent about certain access of father to the child as a bargain for divorce, can it be altered later post divorce if the child is not willing to meet the father?

the child is 6 yrs old and she is not willing to go fathers place and breaksdown miserablly and cries the whole day before we send her to his place. It is immensely painful for me to see this. But my lawyer enforces that she should be sent and i cannot do anything about it. Is my lawyer bought over?

Also is the permanant custody better than sole custody? can i change my daughters name and my name to my maiden name? do i require my x's NOC?

PLS PLS PLS ans this query... expert advise is welcome
