You have joined two different companies, whether both of them are in the same / similar business and is there any restriction on the employees to join competitor / similar company ?

Vashista sir,

Both companies were not competitors, In previous organization I need support their infrastructure within india ( not established outside india) and where as here I need support for us clients.

Even I discussed with them to change the date of joined in current organization they were not ready to change the dates due to their policy, even I can continue my employment but this will block my future due to dual employment.

Please guide me how to overcome this situation

ask your previous employer to resolve

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     21 June 2024

You can request your previous employer to give you the relieving date prior to the joining the new job because the new employer is not able to accommodate your request.

Why did this issue did not come to your notice at the time of joining the new job

Legally you cannot do anything because you have committed this lapse with full knowledge hence in case of any consequences in future you may have to manage accordingly
