Expert advice

Purchased a flat from my friend's wife, which was gifted to her, by her father through his hard-earned money.  Sale Deed signed by my friend and his father inlaw as witness and sign of the vendor by the legitimate owner i.e. my friends wife. My friend and his wife with her parents with the Sale proceeds shifting their property by purchase of flat in Visakhapatnam for good in their old age, as they are andhrites.

Important point here is that my friend and his wife have only one son and he has loved and married a girl of inter-caste and lives separately in the north suburbs of Chennai.  Now the buyer has come to know of the vendor having a son after the purchase of the flat.  Has the son at a later date, got a legitimate claim of his parent's property held by his parents in Chennai, which they have sold and shifted their property to Visakhapatnam?.

Kindly help with your valued expert comments.

Mr.Chandran,

Your friend's wife son has no right to claim the property of his mother. Your friends wife has every right to sell the property.

the lawful owner has sold the property to a bonafide purchaser in a legal manner

you need not to worry in this matter, your interests are secured.
