Get copy of documents

As we all know, While Registering a Marriage, We submit certain documents like Age Proof, Residence Proof, Divorce Degree( if previously married), Photo copy of Marriage etc.

My questions.

1. What are the procedures to Get copy of all the documents attached while applying Registration of Marriage?

2. Is it Easy Process?

Note : Wife left home. Husband is in need of Proof of Documents (I.E Divorce Deed of Wife (of her Previous Marriage))

File application under RTI (Right to information) and ask for all these things..you would get it .

Thanks for your reply..

Further More, RTI is only option OR One can get the same by Application/Request directly at Marriage Registration Office?

Unofficially,You can approach registeration office and show vitamin M, your task would be quickly executed.

I still prefer RTI route as it would have all copies stamped ( Certified Copy) which can not be denied by any authority.

I was just wondering we should be able to get certified copy of divorce deed from court as well.

Thanks Again,

Actually Divorce Deed is achieved outside Court. There were only signs of Few witnesses and a Lawyer on the Divorce Deed and It is notarized.

Husband wants to Declare Divorce Deed as void by challenging Customary Divorce.

such a document is confidential. (book 4)

only parties to the agreement are entitled to get certified copy.

court can order the sub-registrar to provide the copy.

Question 1 : What If Husband himself (who has attached copy of documents while applying of marriage registration) wants another copy of documents using RTI?

i.e Copy of Divorce Deed of Wife

Question 2: Will you please tell me what is book-4? I have very less knowledge of RTI...

Finally Shoneeji Replied...

If Divorce deed is not mandatory document than On what basis Court will proceed with Annulment of Marriage?

Court will ask her to produce Legal Document of her Previous Divorce?

Thanks

Wait a minute, Divorce decree is not a mandatory document  to be submitted for registering subsequent marriage.

Divorce from previous spouse is a must for valid second marriage.

Hope confusion is cleared.

Shoneeji... Sorry to say but You haven't read the main issue. Please read it again.

Husband Wants to challange Second Marriage Validity. He wants to apply for Null and Void (Second) Marriage.

Second marriage is already registered but Issue is that Wife has taken Divorce from her previous husband thru Customary Divorce.

So in above case, Divorce Deed should be submited along with Petition.

The Copy of Divorce Deed is attached while applying for Marriage Register. Now husband wants that copy from Marriage Registering Office itself. This is why husband is keen to obtain that copy thru RTI or other means...

Thanks

OHK, my apologies in that case.

Yes it can be obtained by RTI/ By greasing the palms.
