I have purchased a lease hold residential property plot in a society. As per the lease deed of the previous owner, he is able to transfer the lease hold rights with the society's NOC.Society gave its NOC and the lease holder transfered the lease hold rights in my name in the registrar's office. Now the society is not ready to admit me as a member as they say they have to cancel the previous lease deed and then enter into a fresh lease deed with me. But as per my advocate it is not correct. I have taken a loan and the bank needs the previous lease deed and the current deed of assignment which I did with the previous lease holder. Please let me know what should I do.
