Name misspell

sir, my initial in my educational certificates were misprinted by a letter, but in date of birth certificates, address proofs it spelled correct. now i am applying for government jobs, if they rise an issue what i have to do!  suggest me a solution

Normally you to go collector office and apply for name change.  But in your case there is only one letter is misprinted.  You can go to that particular education institution and get it corrected.

By making an affidavit stating both the names are one and the same and also by publishing the same in a local news paper, by holding all these documentary evidences together, you may go ahead with further issues in this regard. This is an error hence need not be worried to this extent about this.
