I have filed 498A and 406 against my inlaws. They have taken AB in advance due to delay of filing of complaint by Police. And after filing of complaint they have returned gold to police and it is under their custody. But for my clothes and my other belongings at their house. 1st Police told they will send me along with constables to their home for taking my belongings. But now police is saying to take the belongings from police small chowki as my inlaws dont want me and police constable to come to their home to take belongings. I need advice Whether is there any law that police and i cant go to take belongings.
