ur question is a bit vague. give details if it is a suit or appeal or what is the nature of proceedings for which the limitation is to be calculated.

If a suit the date on which the cause of action started or the date of filing either of this to be excluded. in case of appeal the period to get the copies ready to be excluded. see sec 12 to 18 of the limitation act for a clear picture.
