Renewal of rent agreement

Dear All.

We have done an Office Agreement With a renewal Clause mentioning  " The Lease may be extended with mutual concent of both the parties " Does it means that we dont have to go for a new agreement   (on stamp paper), instead we can only take a letter from landlord and continue the lease.

letter in this regard is not valid n not  enforceable in Law .

u must renew the lease agreement n register it .renewal clause means after the end, both party can renew the agreement with same T&C.but renew lease agreement must be registered to be enforceable
