Rental agreement

Dear All,

Please clarify on the below 2 points with regard to Rental Agreement:-

1. I have heard that 11 month rent agreement does not require to be registered! My nearby advocate says no need for registration as it will cost more to you...as am not getting the clear picture so would appreciate if you could suggest me the total expenses for a registered rent agreement considering the property is in Faridabad ( Haryana) + the value of the NJ stamp paper if we go for residential and commercial lease agreement.

2. Is resorting to file the suite is only the option available if Tenant does not vacate the premises or do we have some other option.

Thanks.

no need for registration. If you get it registration it is more advantage to owner,  in futue tenant file a case against you, the registered document can be entertained. Before filing a suit against tenant, the owner has to issue legal notice as per agreement terms.
