1. Give authority letter to someone in town you know attesting his signature and he will collect on your behalf by hand by depositing said fees.

2. If you send a letter to them now then send blanc IPO of Rs. 8/- with covering letter to fill up payee info. as you are not aware of same and annex self addressed / stamped letter to post back to you. They will do the needful.

3. Now don’t ask ‘innocent’ que. how much postal stamp on self addressed envelope..................
 

Just another point to add:

If u wish that RTI application does not bump into such hassels, do these 2 things in future:

1) Cover such "stationery charges" in the initial IPO i.e. attach 50 rupees IPO as Application Fee+Stationery Charges

2) Send self addressed n postal stamps affixed registered letter envelop along with ur RTI application.

There is beauty in RTI act that u may complant to SIC/CIC if PIO makes unreasonable demand of charges.

You can pay fee in following mode:

1. You can send money order to PIO as fee for getting said documents, If required information documents than send regisrty expences.

2. You can also send postal order to PIO.

PiO will furnish information at your address.

OR

Your reprentative also get said information on your behalf.
