Time limit for maintainance case proceedings at HC

hai to all LCI friends

I HAD AN CRLRC MAINATAINANCE CASE IN HIGH COURT SINCE 2009. I HAD NEGLECTED IT FOR SOME TIME AS I WAS FACING 498A AT THAT TIME. BUT AFTER GETTING ACQUITTED I WAS TRYING TO GET THE CASE DONE BUT IN VAIN. ONE OF MY FRIEND FROM SAVE FAMILY HARMONY SAID THERE IS A RULE FOR COMPLETION OF FAMILY MATTERS WITHIN 3 MONTHS AT  HC BUT DID NOT QUOTE ITS NUMBER. I WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS TRUE AND ITS PROCEDURE?
