Wrong date of birth in passport

when did he notice the wrong DOB in anydocument leading to passport?

what did he do to correct the same?

Hi Sudhir, Thanks for responding. Well nothing was done to rectify it. On top of it the mistake was repeated on the new passport after the expiry of the old one. its 17yrs...... will it be safe 2 try getting it rectified now. ... Is it a punishable offence?

Navin, this surely is a punishable offense. He should have corrected the DOB at the first instance when he saw that it was wrong. Now he will have to correct in all the places. He has committed a Gross blunder in giving the wrong DOB for all the visas.

Thanx for responding. I would like to know what would be the punishment under IPC if reported now...  or will it just be OK if the mistake is rectified now.

What is somebody else complains.. as a lot of people know abt it.

Whether DOB on Visa can also be rectified?
