2 challans before magistrate

Two different police challans are presented in the court of a magistrate of 1st class, one under section 326 ipc and the other under section 304 ipc. How the court will proceed in disposing of these cases?

As incidents are different and FIRs are different (though you have not mentioned it and it is presumed here) so there is no difficulty to run trial separately in both cases against one accused.
