Hello,
I met with an accident last year Nov and I was drunk when it happened. I have been charged for 279 / 330 & 185 for drink & Drive. The charge sheet is already in the court. I had paid for the hospital charges of the person injured and now he is out from hospital and can walk. I also have third party insurance of my car which he wants to claim for the expenses he has done after getting out of the hospital. My advocate(not my personal but whom I met in the court and is leading my case at the moment) has been holding the case so far and has not yet advised to stand. Now she says in sept we can stand the case and fight. What can be the results? I mean what worst can happen out of this situation? or what is the best solution? Please advise. the injured is not ready for a out of court settlement and I have already paid a lot of money for his hospital.

Depends upon the witness, defense and the merits of the case. Consult some other lawyer for opinion with all the documents.
