Is there any such section in Law, to protect the husband from the cruality of wife and her relatives? I came to about the section..plz explain it or convey the sections regarding to protect husband from the cruality of wifes.

Hello,

There is no law that protects the husband from woman atrocities like the domestic violence act etc. However, the husband can file a divorce petition in court based on cruelties caused to him by his wife. There is no provision of 498b which protects the husband.

One of the High court (please verify) has allowed husband's petition against atrocities of wife under the provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005
