HI, My Name is Shanker Rao (Delhi, India)
My wife is not staying with me from last May 2007 and she has registered a case 498 against my family and me. From last two years, we are going to court and attend dates regularly. Whenever we visit, my lawyer says that yet your charge sheet has not come... Can any one help me and let me know the process that how much time will charge sheet to be submit in court. Is their any way from whom we can check?
I will me really thank full. If anyone advise me on this

Yeah! Police arrested my entire family member and immediately we were bail from Court...
Full Details:-
I got married in Feb 13 2007. After marriage my always wife fight with me, coming late to home (If I object then start arguing) bcoz of that my parents sent her to their parents house on May 2007. After that she is not staying with me and she had filled a case against me and my family...She stay with me only for 3 months
From last 2 and half year, we are going to court regularly but whenever we go my lawyer says till yet your charge sheet has not come.

Usually in criminal cases charge sheet must be filed by the I.O within six months, if they take time then they give excuses of under investigation n accumulation of statments of wittness, etc.. U can go for the Quash of FIR to HG Court. Ask your local Advocate wherther he can file for any discharge application for ur other female family members sake who are involved in this case.

Mr.Shankar Rao garu,
your querry is not clear. without filing the chargesheet, the court wouldnot give any sort of dates for appearing. After getting bain, the court will inform you that after receiving the summons from the court, you have to attend. That means in the meanwhile, the police will file a chargesheet and then only, you will be called for appearance.
