Hello this is major vivek,
this is a serious query. I would like to abridge it in following few lines:-
a) Brother's wife has given complaint against 4 of us i.e her husband, my parents and me.
b) I have not been in contact with my brother and wife since 2009 the year in which their marraiage was solemnized.
c) The complainant is trying to falsely imlicate me and my parents on pretext of dowry.
d) Her only intention is to mint money as my financial condition is good and i've got married in a good family.
e) The fir has not been registered so far since i had projected my case to IG range and IO.
f) I am serving in army since 2005. I hardly get to meet my parents due to exigencies of service.
g) We had given a notice in paper to disinherit my brother in 2010.
h) Two complaints not fir were also register against my brother for beating up my mother and creating ruckus at home.
i) The complainant is not living with either my parents or my brother since he's incapable of earning.
j) At family counselling centre at police station ,she told that she's not ready to live with either my parents or my brother.
k) My father is also serving railway police inspector and due for his retirement next year.
The complaint in case it is registered will be in indore ,mp.
kindly guide as to what all steps should i take or what all legal safeguards do i have.

In case the case is filed, an investigation shall be duly held and meantime, if you deem fit, can go to high court seeking quashing of FIR and and also for arrest stay.

if charge sheet has not filed before the hon'ble court approach the I/O AND PRODUCE PROPER EVIDENCE THERE IS A POSSIBILITY TO DELETE YOUR NAME by the i/o.

sorry i have no any idea about a good advocate, all advocate try to win the case of client so all are better not only good, If you are local of Indore than go to court bar library and ask one name of better advocate.
