Where should a women go if she is unable to spend money for running 498A case after tremendous husband d inlaws torture. How can she get the justice for all the toture she has faced and for being disowned by cruel husband? I cant spend too much money as I have dependent parents to look after and wherever I go I see nothing no progress of my case. No proper investigation is being done. All the accused got bail despite before complying 406.

Section 498A IPC complaint is state case where wife is just a complainant and rest of the job is that of the police after registering the FIR. If the FIR is already registered the police is supposed to file the charge sheet of the case in the court. If that too has been done, the public prosecutor will look into the matter, summon the witnesses and conduct their evidence. You as a complainant wait for your chance for appearing as witness in the complaint case whenever summoned. If you can afford a lawyer, engage him to look in to the progress of the complaint case. Otherwise your marriage is already dead, better go for dissolution of marriage and move ahead in life, no use running after those people who never bothered about you and inflicted cruelty on you.

The posting lacks clarity. What is the cause of your dissatisfaction - is it with the investigation or with the trial in the court? Is it just that your husband and in-laws have been granted bail?

Just introspect your behaviour and attitude towards your husband and in-laws, you have mentioned one sided story, which can not be believed.
