Is there provision of child custody & maintenance in 498a.

What if this is quashed, what other sections can be invoked?

S.498A is a penal section and does not have provision for child custody and maintenance. For maintenance a petition u/s. 125 Cr.P.c has to be filed and similarly a petition for child custody has to be filed before the family court.

Yes and there is nothing called DVC.
