hello sir
My wife put false 498a case against me and my parents
I would like to know whether the social status matter in this case or not I am earing 70,000 per mnth. my faher is ex defence personnel getting more than 20,000 as pension.
and she said that we r harrsing her for additinal 3 lakhs dowry

court is concerned with allegations made in complaint about dowry harassment not your social status

In 498A case there is no question of maintenance.
Only if she files case for maintenance then your salary would be considered.
Till then apply for bail and fight the case merit.
Nothing to worry.

Well advised by the experts, Take bail and Defend the case. 498A is criminal case and social status is not considered in it.

In criminal cases, social status has no relevance. Defend your case on merits of the case.

A financial status can not be a sole defence
to a dowry demand case of 498a is true but certainly it would have a bearing on enquiry at trial as one who is dowery greedy would certainly ask and aspire for what one does not possess but aspire for even when he does not have means to meet his aspirations.

You hv no alternate but to defend ur self,
uir earnibg or social status hv no relevence with 498A.
And 98% of 498a are proved to be false cases!!!
However, you hv to face repeated music [ noise] in court for years..
[Waste of man hours, court timings, Transport, and a "HOUSE BREAKING LAW," widely misused , nobody benefited, need change /most harmful Act, Swaord cutting hus & Wife also, Who will keep DIL in house smiling, when she sent old parents in Jail for no reason!!!need change -relaxation , ] VERY VERY ANTI SOCIAL LAW..
FAMILY DISPUTE NEED TO BE SOLVED SMOOTHLY, NOT BY ARREST. Family dispute start and grow slowly, takes months/ years, , and cannot solve by arresting parents within days.URGENTLY, without notice !!.
