498A proceedings

what is the general gap between the dates we get in a 498A case. I checked with the court staff they say not more than one month between two dates. In that case the case would progress too fats and I think should conclude in 2 years maximum.

The time gap between dates depends upon the number of cases pending in that particular court. In Bengal the average time gap for 498A case is around 6 months.

In Haryana the average time gap for 498-A case is around four months.
