a lady wrongly register fir u/s 509 on me, in new delhi.
police arrested me and on same day i get police bail hence u/s 509 is bailable offence
but one year passed, till now police doesnt filled a chargesheet.
should i contact the police station for filling the chargesheet??
one advocate told me for filling a chargesheet , time limit is 3 year in u/s 509.
what i have to do, get out from this problem?? kindly give advice

Why are you in hurry. let the police do the job. Once CS is submitted you will get notice of the same.

GOOD QUESTION, "What if police is unable to contact me? I am not living on address, which is registered in police station?"
BUT, would help the process very simple for police to frame you with a serious charge attracting rigorous penalty for you. You can be treated as absconder for having changed your residence without knowledge of the police, not cooperating during investigation with the police, can get non-bailable warrants against you, can reach your official address causing harm to your reputation, can easily tag the other Directors and employees of the company, in which you are operating as Director.

Lady want compromise, but she want a high amount, and why should I gave him money, if I m innocent.

It is better to keep in touch with the concerned police by following up the developments of the charge sheet being filed etc so that you do not end up in surprise suddenly.
