Respected Sir/Madam,
One of my relative had filed 498A case against her husband last year in feb. Now the case is in court and my relative husband is attending the hearings in the court.Last week on mutual understanding in btwn both they decided to stay together but my relative doesn't withdraw the case b'cos she want to watch her husband behaviour for few days and then she will take the decision whether to withdraw the case or not. Two days back my relative husband came to her with 100 rs stamp paper and some receipts belonging to advocates mutually aided co-operative society and he said to her that he deposit some amount as FD in AMACS (hyderabad) on the names of his family members. Now he is asking her to sign on the blank 100 rs stamp paper, so that he can get back that money from AMACS for their personal needs and he also mentioned that if she doesn't sign or without her sign on that paper he will not get that money, so my doubt is that whether he is true or not or he is planning to come out of this case by taking signature of her on that blank stamp paper.
So, I kindly request you to give me a advice to my question.

Dear Sir,
In a co-operative housing society wih 281 members elections were held for 15 members committee as per bye law No. 113.
Only 10 nominations were received for 10 general category members. There were no withdrawals and hence all the 10 membes wee declared elected by the SCEA.
My question is
1. What should be the quorum for the meeting for this 10 member M.Committee. The bye law no. 113 states the quorum as 8 for the 15 member M.committee for a housing society of 201 to 300 members.
2. Whether the Registrar has power to reduce the quorum for 10 member elected M.C.under these cirumstances since no nominations were received for other category of the members.
Kindly clarify

Dear Querist
It will be better that the paper should be written and after reading all the contents of the written paper if think fit then signed otherwise signature on blank paper is not good. NEVER sign on blank paper.

@Harsha: First of all you have repeated your query for more than three times, secondly while using others thread, you may have to reply or give your opinion to that query and not raise your own query which is totally different from the query of the original thread.
@Vaidyanathan: Which is the state that you are referring to the said bye-laws; the state laws differ from one another.

@Mr. Vaidyanathan: to your queries:
1. What should be the quorum for the meeting for this 10 member M.Committee. The bye law no. 113 states the quorum as 8 for the 15 member M.committee for a housing society of 201 to 300 members.
The quorum is 2/3rd of the members, however you refer to clause 116 of the bye laws - which states that; Provided that the Societies having less than 15 members can fix the number of members of the Committee in accordance with the provisions of the Act in this respect
.
However if the persons under the reservation categories are not available, then these seats shall be kept vacant.
2. Whether the Registrar has power to reduce the quorum for 10 member elected M.C.under these cirumstances since no nominations were received for other category of the members.
The above reply answers this too.
