About transferring fathers farm on son's name

Hi

I have around 3 acres of farm on my fathers name. Now 2 years passed after my fathers death. I want to register this farm on my name, how can i achieve??

I have got heir certificate on my and my mothers name.

I asked Talathi but he is not entertaining or not available now is there any other legal person to do this and how much time will it take...

If your father had not made a Will, the property vests jointly with you, your mother and your siblings, if any. You may partition the property among the legal heirs or have a family settlement and get the property mutated in the Revenue Records accordingly.

Take help of local lawyer to get the formalities completed. Registered release deed from other legal heirs required.
