What would happen if a person who wants to lease a property remains absent on the day of registration?

The lease would not be registered, as presence of both the parties is necessary before the Registrar at the time of registration.

Thank you very much. Just want to know one more thing, is there a particular statute under the TOPA ,The Registration Act or any other act which says that the lease would not be registered?

In absence of him registratio cannot be copeleted.

In the absence of either party before the registar. Registration can not be completed.

In his absence no registration would take place. However he can appoint a person to represent him as POA holder.
