My son met with an accident on 23/05/2015 and I've spent more than 2 lacs for his treatment on 26/06/2015 I've engaged an advocate to file case from that time I contacted my lawer several times and asked the case no but he didn't give and he replied that I've filed your case don't worry within 60 days insurance surveyor will come to your residence and inspect your son then they will reimburse your proved billes but he didn't give the case no. in this regard I've 3 questions
1) How can I know my case no?
2) What is the period limit to file MCOP case?
3) Can I change lawyer?
the lawer had not collected any fees till date and all original documents with me while i give the same to him he told to keep with me only
please help me experts, please excuse me if found any mistake i am not a talented in English language kindly advise me experts

Going by your query, I feel UR lawyer has not taken keen interest in the case.Better change the lawyer as U say U R holding all the documents.

Actually in MCOP cases the payment to the advocate is made after the settlement made by the Insurance company.U have to file MCOP within 90 days from the date of the accident.

UR english is as good as others,don't bother.

You can change the lawyer. If the case has been filed your new lawyer would find out.

if my lawyer hasn't filed my case within the limited period as advised by Mr SAINATH DEVALLA saheb then what kind of action can I take to get reimbursement

Better Meet your Lawyer in Person and Sort out the Facts.Normally in Accident Claims Many Lawyers Do Not Charge Fees in Advance But would take Percentage In Claims So they do not Reply Properly to the Client's Doubts.Meet him and Confirm the Facts Then We Could Decide.

Thank you Mr Rajkumar sir for your advice I called him several times every time he replied me that I'm busy now I'll call u later but he never call me. Now too I'm in his office I can meet only his Junior I felt that I'm in a dark room

Check With His Junior the Case Details/Numbers Etc.At Least By Lunch Time He Should be Back Now being Court Hours.For Meeting Any Advocates Evenings would be Better.

Please help me I've checked through e'court site and all filled cases under section 166(1)a in the special court for mcop since 20/05/2015 but I've not found my case details. The lawyer appointed by me had cheated me my son met with an accident on 23/05/2015 still the case was not filled I had borrowed and spent more than 2,00,000/- and every month I borne Rs 6000/- as interest I totally upset
Please help me gentlemen according to this situation what are the steps can I take to recover my money?
and How to teach a lesson to the lawyer? don't mistake me gentlemen
