On Last saturday my friend was driving his car. and met with accident. but no one was injured. but car was damaged of the other party and also of my friend.police companin has been done .but now the opposite party is claming damage .but we are insisting that as the other party has insuarance so he should claim from insuarance not from us..what should we do plz suggest

The other party has option either to claim for the damages against his own insurance company or from your friend.

Your friend should flatly refuse to pay him in cash and suggest to file claim petition before Motor Accident claims Tribunal if the vehicle of your friend is also insured.
